ABOUT
Minna Goulet /Â Founder and Owner
Montrose Street Menagerie is a professional pet sitting service for dogs and cats that was born out of a passion for pets. My parents gave me my first cat when I was two years old and I fell in love instantly. Over three decades later and my passion has only grown.

I served as a Volunteer Dog Walker with the Winnipeg Humane Society for three consecutive years. Since then, I have gained a solid understanding of dog behaviour and temperament, facilitated by a number of training courses, including Pet First Aid.

When I became a homeowner in 2017, I was ready to start the search for my first dog. Rosie came to me as a foster, but I knew the moment I picked her up she was going to be family.
Once I became a dog owner, I understood the needs of being a pet parent. For the last year I have been looking after friends’ cats and dogs. Kennels can be a stressful environment so I started offering my house as a warm and relaxing alternative.
And here we are today. I started Montrose Street Menagerie because I love spending time with animals and want my friends, neighbours and community to feel confident about leaving their pets with me when they can’t be there.
